  • When you buy a ticket on DICE, it’s stored securely in the app with a unique QR code linked to your phone number. If you don’t have a smartphone or can’t download DICE because your smartphone device is incompatible and does not support the app, don’t worry – you can still purchase tickets quickly and easily at dice.fm.

  • Cicada Music & Arts Festival takes place at Henley Island in beautiful Port Dalhousie in St. Catharines. For navigation purposes, you can enter Henley Island, St. Catharines into your preferred Maps app! Henley Island is located about 2km from Lakeside Park.

    Note that the festival site on Henley Island is less than 1KM long, so stages are just a short walk apart. No need to worry about missing any of the music throughout the day!

  • Gates open at 12:00PM on both Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th. Music will kick off at 1PM each day - full details on our Schedule page!

  • On-site parking is available for purchase with your tickets, but will also be available for purchase at the festival entrance. Parking is available in advance for $30 (Full Weekend) or $18 (Single Day). Parking will be $25 per day, when purchased on the day-of. Please note that day-of parking can be purchased with cash or card.

    If you require accessible friendly parking, please notify our staff & volunteers upon arrival, and they will direct you to our accessible parking area and festival entrance.

  • Niagara Region Transit offers bus routes that can get you to Henley Island for just $3 cash fare.

    NRT’s 401 Hospital - Port Dalhousie route makes a stop right across from our festival grounds, with departures every 30 minutes from the St. Catharines Bus Terminal (Downtown). Visit the Niagara Region Transit website for more info!

  • Yes! There will be a dedicated area to park and lock up your bike while you enjoy the festival.

  • Yes! While we recommend purchasing tickets in advance to save some money, we will have tickets available for purchase at the gate.

  • All festival outlets (Box Office, Merchandise, Bar, Parking) will accept both cash and card payments. Most vendors (food, artisan) will be accepting both cash and card, but we recommend bringing some cash with you, just in case. Please note there will NOT be ATMs on site.

  • Yes, we allow re-entry for festival attendees. Vehicle re-entry is allowed with your on-site parking pass. If you intend to leave the festival site, please DO NOT remove your wristband, or you will not be permitted back into the festival.

  • Yes, the festival will run rain or shine. The safety of all attendees, staff and artists is our top priority, and in the event of serious inclement weather (lightning, severe winds, etc), some performance delays could occur.

    That said, please keep an eye on the forecast and dress accordingly!

  • Cicada Music & Arts Festival will feature a variety of food options from 8 different local food vendors, including offerings for those with some dietary restrictions. There will also be several alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options, including beer, wine, cider, spirits, coffee and more. The festival will feature a FREE water filling station, so be sure to bring an empty re-usable bottle. 

    Please note that no outside beverages will be permitted on festival grounds. If you have severe allergies or dietary needs, exceptions can be made for those with medical documentation.

  • There will be washrooms located at three (3) locations on festival grounds this year. There will be accessible, barrier free washrooms for those who require them.

  • To make sure you have everything you’ll need while attending the festival, please feel free to bring the following items with you:

    Strollers & Wagons for Children, Blankets, Towels, Umbrellas, Small Backpacks & Purses, Cameras, Empty Water Bottles & Selfie Sticks. 

    REMEMBER: All patrons and belongings are subject to search and prohibited items will be removed at the discretion of the front gate and security staff.

  • We make every effort to provide an environment where all attendees can fully enjoy their time at Cicada. Please leave the following items at home: 

    Weapons of Any Kind, Large Backpacks, Large Purses, Outside Food or Drink, Alcohol, Illegal Substances of Any Kind, Coolers, Lasers, Glowsticks, Silly String, Spray Paint, Stickers. 

    No unauthorized vendors will be permitted.  No solicitations, handbills, sampling, giveaways, etc. No remote-controlled vehicles or aircraft, including drones.

    REMEMBER: All travelers and their belongings are subject to search and prohibited items will be removed at the discretion of the front gate staff. These items are subject to change at anytime and at the discretion of the front gate and security staff.

  • Smoking (including e-cigarettes) on festival grounds will only be permitted at the designated smoking area. There will be signage and it will be sectioned off. Please respect others.

  • Lost & Found will be located at the Box Office. If you lose an item at the festival, please email us after the event: info@cicadafestival.ca

  • We are certainly a family-friendly event and welcome guests of all ages! Children 10 years of age and under will be admitted for free with adult admission (a maximum of two free entries per adult).

    Though we all love our furry friends, only service animals will be permitted to the festival.

  • We will have first-aid certified medical staff on-site for the duration of the festival. The first aid tent will be centrally located, and accessible to all attendees.

  • Tickets for Cicada Music & Arts Festival are non-refundable. We cannot facilitate a transfer of your tickets to someone else. 

    Please also note that your festival wristband is non-transferable. Once your ticket has been scanned and you’ve received your wristband, only you will be permitted to use it for entry. If your wristband has been tampered with, festival staff can deny re-entry.

  • Unfortunately, we don’t have a mechanism to process an exchange of tickets from one type to another. Our ticketing platform - DICE - does have 24 hour refund option. If you purchased tickets, you have up to 24 hours to get a no-hassle refund.
